Rainy Day Fun -- Bike Auction

Do you know anything about that interesting 19th century "3-wheeler"? The extra rear wheel looks like it belongs on the back of a "Penny". Looking at the structure, I suppose that little wheel is carrying a good portion of the weight of the rider.

I do not know, perhaps others do. Any time I look at pictures like these, I'm struck at how similar the antique bikes are to our modern ones.
