I rode nearly up to Craggy. On my way down I was slowed by an oncoming truck to warn me of bears ahead. The Honda Odyssey was stopped and taking in the show of a mother and her three cubs. They were very close to the road as you can see. One cub took to a tree as I was standing there. He climbed up around forty feet and began shaking more nuts out for his family below. I rode back up a little way and then got up some speed riding past untouched. The bears couldn't have cared less.
