A Second Shot at the Google Map

Here's another shot at the map from the Raleigh state capitol to New Light Road (see previous post). The main difference: this is one continuous line. The other route was drawn using a separate line for each road.
There appears to be a significant shortcoming in Google Maps. You cannot save a route with "Driving Directions" to "My Maps" in your Google account.
I was able to save this link, sans driving directions, by clicking the "link to this page" feature, then snagging the code for embedding.
Notice if you click on the "larger map" link, you're referred out to the map's full view, where you'll see the driving directions.
