Bike to Work / Verse 1

May is Bike To Work Month and our good friend Yo Adrian has prepared a little song to motivate would-be bicycle commuters.

Oh the weather outside's delightful
And your belly's looking frightful
Gas prices have gone berserk
Bike to work, bike to work, bike to work

My only question: How did he get a look at my belly? I've done my best to keep it under wraps.

  1. I did not pen those lyrics--that is the work of Andy Sagit's mind. See the whole composition.

    Oh the weather outside's delightful
    And your belly's looking frightful
    Gas prices have gone berserk
Bike to work, bike to work, bike to work

    Though your single-speed cruiser's rusty
and its seat is hard and lumpy
pump the tires and grease the zerks
bike to work, bike to work, bike to work

You will learn to like dodging cars
'til one knocks you onto your arse
But then this will convince your spouse
You need a new bike, not a house

All the trees and plants are blooming
    The pollen's like yellow snowing
Rub your eyes, blow your nose, and smirk
bike to work, bike to work, bike to work
